Schools
Four districts are based in the county: Dardanelle, Danville, Two Rivers (Ola and Plainview) and Western Yell County (Havana and Belleville).
District lines out in the county don't always follow the town name on the mailbox, so if a particular school matters to you, check the exact address with the district before you make an offer. I'll help you do that.
The state publishes a report card for every public school at myschoolinfo.arkansas.gov.
Property taxes
A $200,000 home inside Dardanelle city limits is assessed at $40,000 (20% of value). At 55.2 mills (a mill is $1 per $1,000 of assessed value) that is $2,208 a year before credits, and $1,608 after the $600 homestead credit for a primary residence. Those are 2025 rates, billed in 2026.
Danville's total is lower, at 48.5 mills. The full table, the homestead credit and what changes when a home sells are on my property tax page.

Work I've done here
I haven't closed a sale in Yell County yet, and I'd rather tell you that than pretend. I've done buyer property research around Belleville, and I've done more than 25 closings since January 2025, most of them in the River Valley.
What you'd get here is the same homework I do everywhere: recent sales pulled before we ever talk price, and a phone that gets answered.

A county median won't tell you much about your place. Lake access, land and which side of the county you're on all move the price. Tell me the road and I'll run the numbers from recent sales nearby. I'll text you what I think it'd bring.
